TRANSITION TO A NEW TICKETING SYSTEM – CURRENT INFORMATION

Dear visitors,
In recent days, we have been transitioning to a new ticketing system, which has brought certain temporary limitations.
Below you will find the current information. The following conditions apply from Monday, 24 November.

 

- Ticket offices are fully operational and selling all types of admission as usual.

- All season passes (including neighbourhood passes) purchased before 14 November 2025 are no longer valid and must be exchanged free of charge at the ticket office. New season passes can also be purchased.

- All e-tickets purchased before the system outage on 14 November 2025 remain valid and can be used without any restrictions. No exchange or replacement is required.

- VIP tickets and printed gift vouchers are no longer valid. They must be exchanged at the ticket office during your visit — no later than the date printed on the original ticket/voucher.

Single Entrance

The ticket is valid on the day of purchase. Gift tickets and vouchers are valid for 1 year from the issue date (please see below).

* Bags and camera backpacks can be stored in the cloakroom free of charge. This measure applies only to the Tropical Butterfly and Orchid Exhibitions in the Fata Morgana Greenhouse.

** Dogs are not allowed in the Fata Morgana Greenhouse.

Payments in the garden can be made in cash or by card (VISA, MasterCard). We do not accept American Express.

Guided tours

Guided tour in Czech (one route only, must be booked in advance on [email protected]) 400 CZK/hour
Guided tour in English (one route only, must be booked in advance on [email protected]) 700 CZK/hour
Guided tour in Czech for disabled people with ZTP certification (one route only, must be booked in advance on [email protected]) 100 CZK/hour
A special tour with a curator 1 500 CZK/hour

 

 

Annual pass - 10 entrances*

The date of expiry is 1 year from purchase.

Children aged 3-15, students aged 16-26 with a valid student card or an ISIC card 380 CZK
People age 60+, disabled people with ZTP certification  320 CZK
Family pass (2 adults + 3 children aged 3-15) 1 800 CZK
Dog (allowed only to the outdoor expositions, must be on a leash)** 600 CZK

** Dogs are not allowed in the Fata Morgana Greenhouse.

All passes are issued as plastic cards against a refundable deposit of 100 CZK.

Annual pass - unlimited*

The date of expiry is 1 year from purchase.

School programs

60 minutes (group of 16 pupils, in case of fewer pupils, it is necessary to pay 1280 CZK) 80 CZK/pupil
90 minutes (group of 16 pupils, in case of fewer pupils, it is necessary to pay 1360 CZK) 85 CZK/pupil
135 minutes (group of 22 pupils, in case of fewer pupils, it is necessary to pay 1980 CZK) 90 CZK/pupil

 

The guide is included in the price of admission.

The teacher accompanying a group - 2 teachers per group for free.

The program must be ordered in advance.

Gift Tickets

Gift tickets for entrance into the expositions are valid for 1 year from the date of issue and can be bought at all ticket offices of the botanical garden (230 CZK per ticket) or online in the e-shop (the site is in the Czech language only).

The Lítačka Transportation Card

5% discount on single entrance tickets. This does not apply to any other type of admission (e.g. annual passes)!

Media/Press

PRESS cards are not accepted at our ticket offices without the previous agreement of the Prague Botanical Garden's press office. If you plan some media outputs, please inform us about your visit. Our spokesperson´s contact is [email protected]
