On August 18, Pinot Noir Day is celebrated throughout the wine-growing world! Pinot Noir is also a key and most popular variety in the Trojan vineyard of St. Klára. Its history dates back to the times of Charles IV. It can be said that the cultivation of Pinot Noir in Prague vineyards is as old as Charles University.

In our wine shop, we are preparing a mini-tasting of various forms of Pinot Noir from the vineyard of St. Klára. Good vintages offer red wine with excellent potential for long-term aging. As part of the tasting, it will be possible to taste Pinot Noir of the 2015, 2018, and 2019 vintages, and a trio of red wines will complement the rosé of the 2022 vintage. Exceptionally, it will also be possible to taste a sample of Pinot Noir rosé brut sparkling wine.

The garden (outdoor exhibitions) is open daily from 9 am to 7 pm.
No reservation is required for the tasting.
Admission
Tokens for the mini-tasting will be available for purchase in the wine shop on the day of the event - CZK 160/4 samples.
The entrance ticket for the exhibition corresponds to the standard price list for entry to the botanical garden.

The garden is accessible in several ways, but the most convenient one is to use public transportation. You can find a complete overview of how to get to us.
The best route leads from the bus no. 112 or 234 to the stop "Kovárna" through the vineyard.
