WINE FESTIVAL at St. Claire’s Vineyard – Wine, Burčák, Live Music

WHAT’S ON?

Over the two-day festival, you can taste wines from St. Claire’s Vineyard as well as a selection of wineries from Bohemia, Moravia and abroad. There will also be freshly made burčák, a wide choice of food, coffee, soft drinks and cocktails.

The festive atmosphere will be accompanied by a varied music programme on the main stage and a smaller stage next to the St. Claire’s Wine Shop. The festival will be hosted by Petr Slíva and Adéla Zahradníčková from Rádio Blaník.

The programme will also include guided tours of the vineyard (in Czech only) at no extra charge, a traditional Czech crafts village, workshops, creative activities and Vínohrátky, an educational activity area run by Prague Botanical Garden. Children can look forward to children’s rides, games, competitions and other activities for the whole family.

Workshops and Traditional Czech Crafts

The accompanying programme and workshops will take place on both days from 10.00 to 18.00. Selected workshops are charged separately and paid for on site. Cash and card payments are accepted.

• Traditional Czech crafts village with demonstrations of traditional crafts.
• Commemorative medal minting – make your own original token featuring a special festival design.
• Traditional Czech craft games – try your hand at throwing a horseshoe for accuracy or discover how difficult it was to make a hole in a wooden barrel.
• Copperwork – make your own hammered copper flowers.
• Wire craft – make a flower-shaped wire decoration embellished with beads.
• Creative and fun games for children and adults.

Vínohrátky

At Vínohrátky, Prague Botanical Garden’s educational activity area, you can examine grapevines under a microscope, find out what happens to grapes after pressing, and explore other fascinating biological facts related to grapevines and winemaking.

Programme for Children

The Grape Harvest Festival also has plenty to offer its youngest visitors. A children’s area with activities for both younger and older children will include:

• a traditional children’s carousel
• a children’s play area
• children’s rides, games and competitions
• creative activities and hands-on workshops
• additional attractions and competitions

GLOW
This musical duo performs their own versions of international hits by Adele, Rihanna, Alicia Keys, P!nk and others. Their repertoire also includes Czech songs by Aneta Langerová, Hana Hegerová and Marta Kubišová.

Cimbalom Band of Josef Mareček
A cimbalom band full of energy and youthful enthusiasm, combined with a deep respect for tradition. Songs about wine, love, joy and hardship appeal to audiences of all generations – true tradition never grows old; it simply matures, like good wine.

Small Stage by the Wine Shop – Sunday 13 September 2026

MARCODOSE + SAX
Australian-Italian singer-songwriter Marco Micelli, performing under the stage name Marcodose, presents a unique blend of neo-soul, R&B, funk, Afro-Latin and jazz. His music is inspired by artists such as George Benson, D’Angelo, The RH Factor and Fugees.

The Cimbalom Band of Michal Horsák will perform in two afternoon sets.

When and Where

The Grape Harvest Festival follows the opening hours of the Garden. The site can be reached in several ways, but public transport is the most convenient option. Complete information about transport and parking can be found here.

Admission

Special admission prices apply at Prague Botanical Garden during the Grape Harvest Festival on 12 and 13 September 2026.

Discounted online advance tickets will be available from 12 August until 17.00 on 11 September 2026.

The admission price includes access to the Outdoor Expositions, Fata Morgana Greenhouse, a free guided vineyard tour and the accompanying programme.

Important information about admission: Self-service entrances will not be in operation during the festival weekend. Neighbourhood Cards are not valid during the event; admission is only possible with a valid ticket.

Annual tickets and season passes: Visitors with a valid annual ticket or season pass may enter the Grape Harvest Festival. Visitors wishing to consume drinks must purchase a wine glass or NickNack cup for 80 CZK at the collection stand.

* Standard admission: Visitors purchasing a standard ticket will receive an empty wine glass or NickNack cup worth CZK 80 with their ticket. It can be collected after entering the grounds. Own glasses are not permitted.
** Holders of a disability card with an accompanying person may be accompanied by one person free of charge. Upon presenting the card at the ticket office, the visitor will receive free admission for themselves and their accompanying person. Visitors wishing to consume drinks must purchase a wine glass or NickNack cup for 80 CZK at the collection stand.
*** Dogs: Dogs are permitted only in the Outdoor Expositions. Dogs are not allowed inside the Fata Morgana Greenhouse.

Tips for a Comfortable Visit

• We recommend travelling by public transport and using the Kovárna, ZOO Praha or Botanická zahrada Troja bus stops.
• Parking near the Botanical Garden is limited.
• The parking lot is located in the northern part of the Garden, near the Main Entrance from Bohnice, on K Pazderkám Street.
• Parking spaces cannot be reserved.
• There are traffic restrictions in the surrounding area, as well as paid blue and orange parking zones.
• The walk from the parking lot to the Ornamental Garden and vineyard is quite long and includes hilly terrain.
• Parking at the Botanical Garden parking lot costs CZK 200 per day.

WINE SELECTION

You will be able to taste wines from St. Claire’s Vineyard as well as wines from carefully selected wineries from Bohemia, Moravia and abroad.

FOOD & DRINK

Food lovers will also be well catered for, with a wide selection of food, coffee and cocktails. The offer will include grilled meats, burgers, langos (deep fried flatbread), chimney cakes, French cheese specialities, freshly made crêpes, Belgian fries, gyros, desserts, churros and other refreshments. There will also be coffee, lemonades, gin and tonic, Aperol Spritz, beer and non-alcoholic drinks.
