The exhibition is spread across several areas of the botanical garden:
Get up close with carnivorous plants – examine them under a magnifying glass, touch selected specimens, and discover their fascinating, deadly methods of catching prey.
Informational panels will accompany the displays, and visitors can purchase their own carnivorous (or other) plants at the plant sale located in the square next to the Exhibition Hall in the Ornamental Garden.
The exhibition will also feature a rich accompanying programme. Don’t miss the Carnivorous Festival on the weekend of 21–22 June, filled with music, delicious food, and fun activities.
Popular creative events such as the Florarium Workshop and other hands-on activities for both children and adults will also be available.
The live carnivorous plant exhibition runs from 13 to 29 June 2025.
The exhibition is open daily, including weekends and public holidays, from 9.00 am to 7.00 pm.
The Fata Morgana Greenhouse is open Tuesday to Sunday, including public holidays, from 9.00 am to 7.00 pm.
Admission to the exhibition is included in the standard entrance fee to the botanical garden, which provides access to all expositions, exhibitions, and ongoing events (unless otherwise specified).

For visitors enchanted by the exhibition, a popular plant sale will take place in the square in front of the Exhibition Hall of the Ornamental Garden. You will find a wide selection of carnivorous plants, as well as bonsai, succulents, and other botanical treasures.
The sale area also offers gardening supplies and expert advice, with friendly vendors ready to help you choose the right plants and share useful care tips – whether you’re just starting out or already a seasoned grower.
Access to the plant sale area requires a valid garden entry ticket.
